Re: Can smoking be regarded as a hobby?

In my opinion as a smoker for 25 years, smoking to me is a recreational activity which has addictive qualities. It's not like a sport in which people could suddenly stop doing because smoking has withdrawal symptoms. So it's an addictive vice like drinking.

Re: visaya

Here are a few good sites that can help you learn the Visayan language. I used these sites to learn how to speak Cebuano/Visaya when I traveled there for a construction project years ago.

Re: mooncake - traditional food for Mid Autumn Festival

Moon Cake is a Traditional Chinese Pastry which is served during special occassions and festivals. It's being sold in Chinese delis all year round and some people like it while others dont. I've tried a lot of variants and I really don't like it. I think it has an acquired taste. It looks good but t...

Re: What food to eat when having sore throat?

Whenever I have sorethroat I would eat soup noodles with.a lot of garlic and chillies. Having hot spicy soup noodles lessens the pain and relieves me of my sore throat. Pasta like spaghetti and fettuccine with a spicy chili sauce also works well.

I love crawfish, here it's called locally as "Ulang". It's steamed or fried in oil, garlic, butter and chillies. But my fave recipe is called Crawfish Curry. It's really easy to cook and so tasty. Just pantry Crawfish with some oil, chillies, bellpeppers, onions, salt, potato wedges and ad...

Re: The novel or its movie?

I always prefer watching the movie because often than not, if the movie is good, then the book is even better. And that's when I would buy and read the book. It's true for a lot of books, one example are the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter books. The movie was good but the books are great.
