Re: Street food in Hongkong

I am not sure who started the culture of street food, but here in Malaysia, there are many street food carts/stalls too. It had become a culture here where local people or foreign visitors like to eat at those stalls. I have always been watching Hong Kong dramas and movies since I was young, and it ...

Re: Niagara fall

It's so nice that you have visited Niagara Fall. It's always been in my list of visiting, but I doubt I will be able to make it happen one day. I can imagine how grand and exciting it is to be there by looking at those wonderful photos. I think it'd be more amazing when we are there. :)

Re: Going to Jakarta

Though Indonesia is very near to where I stay (Malaysia), I have never been visiting Indonesia before. I have only heard my friend who just visited Indonesia telling me about visiting the volcanoes there. I always think you are courageous and adventurous as you always like to travel and also travel ...

I wonder what proverb it is, as I can't remember any of it now. ;)

I think traveling is to learn and experience something new or different, and also to relax.

Re: penpalworld.com

It sounds good, especially our personal information will not be publicly displayed on the site. I used to have a penpal in China whom I found her contact in a magazine when I was young. It's been years that we haven't contact each other. I enjoy writing letters, especially to someone who is staying ...

Re: Eating Dog Meat?

I have always heard that, Chinese can eat almost anything as long as the back of the animal is facing the sky. That's not really true, as I also read some Chinese eat the brain of the monkey, some even eat it while the monkey is still alive. I feel disgusted even thinking about this. I am not offend...

Re: What countries to visit in Europe?

I agree that it really depends what your purpose is or what you would like to see in Europe. I personally would like to visit Finland and Denmark, as I have always been hearing the education system in Finland is great, and Denmark has been the happiest country for years. It seems like Norway has tak...

Re: Beginner Chinese

I just checked out the Youtube video you shared, I find it quite interesting and she made it very easy for everyone to learn Chinese. There are also Chinese characters and pronunciations shown, so I think it's good for kids to learn Chinese writing as well. I might let my kids learn, so they can bot...

Scallion pancake - popular snack in Taiwan

Have you tried the scallion pancake which is a popular snack in Taiwan. It is very delicious, and very easy to make too. The major ingredients are only scallion (spring onion) and flour. I just tried to make it yesterday, and the children liked it very much. You can visit this blog to find out...
