Re: Eating Worms in the Philippines

It's locally called Tamilok or Woodworm. It's a local delicacy but it's only available in far provinces. Some say it taste like milk but I really don't have the intention of tasting it. Although we have worm burgers here too and it's delicious.

Re: Cooking Foreign Foods?

When it comes to Korean dishes my favorite is Beef Bulgogi and I can make a decent one. I've had lots of practice because a friend of mine worked in Korea and taught me how to cook beef Bulgogi. All you need are beef strips which are then shredded and marinated with soysauce, sesame oil, chillies, g...

Re: are you in favor of divorce?

If there's a good reason like incompatibility, then yes, I mean instead of ruining both of your lives through regular fights and misunderstandings, it's better for both parties to separate. Another thing if money or finances is the main issue then it's better to be divorced.

Re: Which do you prefer coffee or tea?

I'm from the Philippines and I love coffee, I drink instant coffee daily about 2-3 cups a say, at breakfast time and after lunch, the third cup in the afternoon. I love the scent and taste of strong bitter coffee, I take it black with a teaspoon of sugar and I love instant, I hate brewed.

Re: Philippines Street Foods

IMG_20180706_165009_020.jpg This is one of my favorite Philippine Street Foods, it's called "Palitaw", or Flat Rice Cakes, it's basically made out of Boiled Rice Flour covered with freshly grated coconut meat, sugar and toasted sesame seeds. It's filling, cheap at $0.30 per 3 pieces and v...

Re: Would you buy a house in a foreign country?

I would if I can afford it, who doesn't want to have a house in another country right? If money is no object, I would like to have one in Japan and another one in Scotland, I love both countries and I would stay there for several months a year if ever I have houses there.

Tagaytay City
