Re: Dubai as a tourist destination during Ramadan?
This morning I saw the documentary on Dubai. I saw the Dubai Frame which is like a gigantic picture frame that can compete with the Eiffel Tower of Paris. There are many tourist spots in Dubai that I seem to be encouraged to visit. If there is no pandemic then maybe I can be there next year.

Re: Does having a degree help?
My brother in the US said that the best group for volunteer work is the UN. You can apply as a volunteer in any field that is appropriate with your degree or work experience. It is great to be a UN volunteer because there is compensation aside from the universal visa that they will grant you.

Re: The karaoke is banned by 9 pm
In our neighborhood the karaoke regulation is still enforced and it does not have anything to do with the pandemic. That means even when the pandemic is gone the 9 pm rule for the karaoke will remain. I like that because having a peaceful evening is relaxing especially when I am watching tv.

We have a family friend who worked in Russia. One time he brought along his family - wife and 2 daughters for a vacation in Russia. They said it was a nice country with historical places. I agree that it is nice but I don't think I would travel there. The plane ticket is expensive. To live in Russia...

Re: China and Facebook
We are seeing the strength of China in its strict policy against the western social media like Facebook and Google. I am not pro China but I admire their style of having their own and getting the benefit. Think how much money Facebook would earn from the Chinese that China is now earning that kind o...

Re: Respect for other religion
Does anyone realize more than 90 percent of problems in our world have roots in religion? People have fought in the name of religion ever since the religions evolved. Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus all fought in the name of religion. The only religion that did not fight for religion is Buddhism,...
