Are laptops really that high in the Philippines? I recently bought one at Walmart in the US for $250. But I have heard from my Filipino friends that computers are high there.

I love seafood also but I still think that it is important to try out some of the local foods. I thought that balot was disgusting until I tried it out. It actually tasted pretty good.

This dish looks taste but what is it made of? Is it a sweet pastry dish or is it a meat or vegetable dish?

When he first came into office I was a little skeptical about traveling there, but as of now I think it's ok for foreigners to travel there now.

I plan on visiting the Philippines later this year. I will definitely checkout cebu airline for some special promos or discounts.

I think that nowadays that it is normal to meet other people online for dating and marriage. I met my wife online and we are doing well together. We still have the everyday problem as any regular relationship but we are doing good together.

Traveling to other countries is difficult now. I heard that if you travel to the Philippines you have to quarantine for 2 weeks at a place in Manila.

Thanks for the info. It seems like I've read a story about that happening a few years ago in the Philippines. But, even in the US were I'm from people die every year from drinking bad homemade alcohol.

Being an expat and working in the Philippines is one of my future goals. I love Filipino culture and yes...the cost of living there for me is like being rich.

Even though I've never been to a karaoke bar in the Philippines, I will remember this advise if I ever decided to go. I've only been to karaoke parties at some friends house.
