I spent my teenage years in the late 80s and early 90s. During that time I like listening to heavy metal and hard rock bands. One of the first bands that I liked and that I ever started listening to was "Guns n Roses". I thought their album, "Appetite for destruction" was one of the best albums ever created. Who is your favorite 80s or 90s band or singer?

My favorite American band is Bon Jovi. If I am not mistaken, I was motivated by their popular song "It's my life". I also like their other songs, such as Thank you for loving me and Always. Another rock band I really like is from Taiwan, May Day. Their songs are very motivational and inspiring too. Their songs really accompanied me to walk through many challenging moments in my teenager and college days.

One of my all time favorite bands from that time period is Iron Maiden. I love their songs "2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Hallowed be Thy Name". These 2 are classics. They are as cool to listen to today as they were 30 years ago. I think more young people should checkout more songs of past generations.

I don't really have a favorite band or group during those times but I do remember some great songs. A few of my all time favorites are "My Angel" by Aerosmith, "Drive" by the Cars, "Purple Rain" and "When the Doves Cry" by Prince.

I think during that time they had some of the best heavy metal bands ever. I use to love listening to bands like old Metallica, Megadeath and Slayer. Those were the days that metal and hard rock groups had their highest popularity I think.

A lot of good bands came out of the 80s and 90s, but one of my favorite groups is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Some of my favorite songs from this group include Otherside, Scar Tissue, Dosed, and Wet Sand are all pretty good!
