Enjoying the karaoke bar

Most foreigners seem to be lost when they go inside the karaoke bar. The advice is to have someone accompany you because a foreigner in that place may be abused. I am sorry to say this but it happened to a friend who was charged exorbitantly like the bill should be $50 and he was charged $350. Just for safety, avoid going out at night by yourself.

He got charged $350? That is indeed exorbitant. I wonder what he did or what he ordered for the bill to be that high. Was it a group gathering? Did he pay the full amount or was it lowered?

Even though I've never been to a karaoke bar in the Philippines, I will remember this advise if I ever decided to go. I've only been to karaoke parties at some friends house.
