When it comes to my favorite Filipino dishes I can think of these two:. "Lechon Baboy" which is a Roasted Whole Pig and "Lechon Manok" which is a Roasted Whole Chicken. Every major celebration in the Philippines has these dishes to satisfy every guest.

I have always been intrigued by the lots of dishes I see Philippines make, it seems that they are natural born cookers because I would say that they are very good with cooking lots of food. I have watched a lot of Philippines movies and seen how they prepare and serve meal, it always entice me to visit the country and hopefully one day I might and I'm definitely going to eat more than my belly can be able to carry.

When it comes to best food in one's country, I think it differs from one individual to another. What Mr A would consider to be his best food wouldn't necessarily be what Mr B would consider his own best food. So therefore, I'm of the opinion that it should be what's one's best food in his or her country. Mine happens to swallow food called eba and ora or oha soup. It's the best food that I have eaten here in my country and I'm willing to eat it on daily basis without getting bore by it.

The food that is most eaten here in my country is "small" on the barbeque. This food doesn't have a name in English, but it has a unique taste, we are cooking it almost every weekend, on holidays or birthdays.I will attach a photo, maybe you will know what I am talking about!

This type of meat is popularly known as suya in this part of the world. It is the meal that you can enjoy with some some soft drinks and feel contented after taking it. Just like you said, you can always enjoy this suya on birthdays, wedding ceremony and any type of ceremony that you want to take part in.

Some of the foods that my country is well known is Adobo, Balot, Sisig, and Sinigang. Our culture is filled with a lot of delicious delicacies. There's hundreds of local recipes to choose from. Surely, you will enjoy it if you are quite adventurous when it comes in trying new dishes.

Whenever I'm in the Philippines I crave for a soup dish with a tamarind base called Sinigang it can be made using Pork, Beef, Chicken or Fish. This refreshingly delicious dish is sour, salty and hot, I like it with chillies. :D

Both of these dishes make my mouth water. I've always wanted to try both of them. Hopefully on my next trip to the Philippines I will be able to try some.
