Sampling the local food of a country

Postby Alexandoy » Fri Apr 02, 2021 10:35 pm

Pardon me for this topic but I am not daring to sample all the local food of a country that I visit. Especially with the soup dishes it is not my type. Even the roasted meat sometimes would not agree with my taste buds. What I really savor are the seafood that is cooked well.

I love seafood also but I still think that it is important to try out some of the local foods. I thought that balot was disgusting until I tried it out. It actually tasted pretty good.

I love sampling the local foods of a different country or city. Even if I don't know what it is and it makes me sick in the end...it is still a worth while experience. :D

I think that I would only sample the local foods of another country if I am sure that I would like it and I have an idea of what they taste like. I don't want to sample foreign food if I don't have any idea of what they taste like.
