I grew up in the era of peanut butter and coco jam for breakfast. They are the most common bread spread in those days when hot dog and spam were not around yet. Until now the coco jam is persisting in our suburban town. People from the city come to our town to buy coco jam and other native delicacies. Unfortunately coco jam is not good if the person is diabetic.

I also like coco jam and how it tastes. It's been a while since we bought one though, I always see mayonnaise and peanut butter readily available here at home. When it runs out I would buy coco jam.

coco jam and peanut butter are not very common here, we use mango spread. My mother is very good at making mango spread. She fries sliced mangoes, add sugar and other spices, and cooks for one-two hour. This jam/spread can last for over one year.
