The celebration called fiesta

Postby Alexandoy » Sun Mar 01, 2020 11:50 pm

Fiesta is a holiday in a town or city that is celebrated by the population. Usually there are events like a parade or procession, a beauty pageant or street games, all for the benefit of the public. Most of the residents have a feast on their dining table for the guests. What's good in a fiesta is that even strangers are welcome to eat in their home.

Unfortunately, I've only seen fiestas on tv. Brazil is famously known for this, so much that it was actually featured in Rio the movie. I wish we had fiestas where I'm from because they seem like a lot of fun.
