I belong to India which a country known for its cultural diversity. Though here only a minor portion of the population celebrate Christmas I love to see all the Christmas decorations all around. I regret that theses decorations are nothing when compared to the decorations done in other countries. But still. I enjoy each and every part of the decoration.

To what extent do you celebrate Christmas in your country?

I celebrate Christmas to the extent that we travel to places far and near at Christmas to have some fun and to feel the season joyfully. Being a festive season and vacation period, Christmas is such an event cherished and observed by trillions of people all over the world and it creates lots of pleasure for people who deliberately observe it on a yearly basis. I celebrate it greatly having understood that it's a mark to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Almost everyone celebrates Christmas in my country. Like 10% of the population don't celebrated it.

Decorations are always made everywhere. Town always looks beautiful when every building has colorful flashy decorations. Some people like celebrating Christmas in town while others visit their rural home to celebrate it the traditional way.

I like trying to create a peaceful and meaningful Christmas at my age, because these days commercialism of this religious holy day can get to far out of hand. So I am always looking to bring back beauty and good sense to my Christmas, and fill it with warm memories that can sustain us through our lives.

It's a big deal for me and my family - very important. Now living as an expat in Australia, you start to see Christmas decorations popping up on store shelves around this time of year. I like it though...Christmas to me is a time of togetherness and family. Of celebrating the good things in your life. I think at Christmas time people also seem a lot more loving, patient and kind.

I'm from America but I didn't grow up celebrating Xmas. The religion that I was raised in didn't celebrate Xmas on December 25 because it didn't believe that Jesus was born on that day. So on December 25 we usually just treated it as a regular day.

I celebrate Christmas by going to mass and being with my family. Lots of us gather for a family dinner. It's simple and festive. We also go out to malls and enjoy the season's theme. Like taking pictures around big Christmas trees and decorations. :)
