I've eaten some strange things in my life, but cat meat is way too much for me. I think I would probably vomit if I had to eat it. But, depending on where you go to eat, sometimes it's hard knowing what they are truly feeding you.

Every culture has strange traditions and eating habits to someone else. So, we should respect them and try not to be so judgemental. I'm sure that there are a lot of things in American culture that people around the world find offensive. I personally think eating cat meat is disgusting, but I like eating chitterlings(pig intestines), and a lot of people I know think that that's disgusting.

Like I always say, what's strange to one person is normal to the next person. It all depends on what culture you were raised in. I saw on TV before where they ate giant rodents in the Amazon.

You are right with the differences in our taste and maybe cultural differences. There is a Sunday market here where they sell goat meat, deer meat, wild boar meat, frogs, snails and other exotic food. Some frown on deer meat but some people like it very much when I serve it to them.

All of those things sound like what we eat around where I stay  Where I stay people eat deer meat, goat meat and frog legs all the time. I was in the fish market the other day and they were actually selling alligator meat!

How the h*** do you catch a cat and then slaughter it in the first place?! These are the kinds of things that lead to people picking up weird and f**** up diseases.

I find the food of the people largely depends on the culture. There is a region here where dog meat is a delicacy that a dog meat dish is always present for any occasion. With cat meat, I know of people in one province who eat cat meat. Usually the cats are loose so there is a means to catch those animals.

Where I'm from that's animal cruelty, and if you get caught killing cats and/or dogs you'll be arrested. I guess it just depends with which part of the world you reside in.

I do not know about any cultures where eating cat meat is considered normal. I know some people in my community eat cat meat but they do not eat ct meat on regular basis. They eat cats only as an experimentation. I would never eat cats knowingly.
