Happy Diwali

Postby kaka135 » Tue Nov 06, 2018 3:23 am

Today is Diwali. We actually call it Deepavali in my country. It's a Hindu festival, and it's festival of lights. Many Indians in my country are celebrating this festival today, and it seems like it's the main festival to them. I used to think it's their new year, actually it's not. I see many Rangoli decorations in the shopping center, which are made using colorful rice.

Do you celebrate Diwali? Or do you see any Diwali celebration or decorations around?

Happy Diwali to those who celebrate this festival!

I'm not familiar with this festival called Diwali. But from the looks of it, it seems like an Indian celebration from how it's pronounced.

Well, to all those who took part in this celebration, I say happy Diwali.
