When we visit another country, along with the laws of the land that we have to abide by, it's important to make sure that we are aware of the cultural differences that are there as well. Every country has it's own unique way of doing things, and as an outsider there we have to respect that whether we agree with it or not.
Just because it's acceptable to do something in your own country, doesn't mean that you can do the same thing in theirs. While we may not be breaking any actual law, we still have to be conscious of the fact we are in their land, so are expected to behave as we would want people to who visit ours.
A matter of respect.

Every country has it's own lifestyle and way of living. As a tourist it is our duty to follow all the rules and stick to the guidelines.
There is widespread variation in culture and customs. A little diligent effort from our side can easily make us understand them better. This will go a long way in enhancing our stay at that place.

Definitely what is obtainable in country A is never obtainable country B. We all culture varies from place or one society to another, that is why the concept of culture shock exists; which means the awkwardness one feels in being exposed to things he/she has never witnessed before as people's way of life.
It might be the kind of food those people eat, their language, kind of houses they build etc. In all things, it's always adviced that one be careful in how one relates and react to another people way of life because disrespecting such might result to some consequences.
That you are not from one's cultural background doesn't give you the right to disrespect such custom and tradition, you are welcome to disagree with them in some things but learn how to thread with caution and give respect when it's necessary.

That is very much true. When we are visiting another country it's like if we are guests in someone else's home, so we need to act according to their rules. It's a matter of respect, and it will lead us to have a more enjoyable experience.

I agree knowing your place on a different country is a sign of respect and being considerate. Always prepare yourself for cultural differences and always have a little research on their laws and practices. Also its better to choose a country you want to visit which you think is compatible on your beliefs and tradition, this way your adjustments is minimal and you can enjoy your travel in a breeze.

There is this thing called "culture shock", it's a situation whereby one gets to witness a practice that goes against everything the individual has been taught and learnt in the course of growing up. Such culture would seem abnormal to you but it's 100% accepted in another man's country.

I agree with you on that a traveller should respectnot only the laws of the land but also it's traditions and should not impose his country's laws and beliefs in the country he's visiting.
Being unrespectful is a big no-no for foreigners and travellers because one might be branded as too cocky and arrogant and that could lead to a negative image.
