White sand beaches in Laiya

The coastal area of Barangay Laiya in San Juan, Batangas is carving it's name as one of the Philippines' top alternative beaches to Boracay. Since the famous beach is all the way in the Visayas region, many from Luzon are opting to vacation at the nearby Puerto Galera in Mindoro. Laiya, however, is much closer and travelers won't need to ride a boat just to get to the beach just like in Puerto Galera. There are various resorts that are more accessible now and if one like to own a property at Laiya, there are now sites you can own a commercial or residential lot at.
