Advice on euro trip
Advice on euro trip
So just wondering which places in Europe can I visit if I have 3 days and want to travel by train only. I want to cover as many places possible but don't want it to be too hectic either. What's you suggestion, from where should I start. I don't have anything in mind except that I really want to visit Spain. So other places should be closer to it, I guess.
Re: Advice on euro trip
3 days is way too little, you are better off using those 3 days for visiting Spain.
If you are in Madrid, Barcelona is 2 and a half hours away via train, so you could use one of those days to visit Barcelona.
Then you should probably visit Toledo or Salamanca using a Bus.
You could go to other places like Bilbao and visit the Guggenheim museum there, but the trip is like 6 hours so you are going to end up traveling from a to Bilbao most of the time.
You could also try and visit Paris, stay the night and go back to Spain the next day, this will occupy your whole 3 days but the 12 hour trip is amazing in itself.
