Has anyone been to Fiji?

Right now it's on my radar since it's a relatively short flight from Australia, where I am living right now. I've heard lots of good things but would love some personal recommendations about sights to see, or good accommodation spots to stay at!

Also if there are any particular activities in Fiji that you've really enjoyed I'd love to hear about those too.

I have never been to the Fiji before, but I remember George Bailey(Jimmy Stewart) as a kid in the Movie "It's a Wonderful Life", wanting to travel there some day when he grew up. I researched it a bit and find that Fiji is great for family friendly motels, also I see they are big on Fire-Walking as well, and this includes walking over hot stones, and the hindu purification ritual of walking on ashes and charcoal as well. You could check out a rugby game over there also, because they are big on this game.

I couldn't recommend Fiji enough. We've been there twice and planning our third trip within the next year tops. Such a wonderful place.

I was taken to Fiji when I was still a teenager by my father during one of his business trip. From the memory I could still remember back then, I would say that Fiji is very lovely place to visit especially for tourist. I can't say much about it because I still small then but if you want to visit the place, it's a good idea in my opinion.

I have never been to Fiji but some of my friends were there and they say is just like heaven, a dream place to go. They have said that their vacation was a bit expensive because they have two kids and the hotel and food had a high cost but the place was wonderful.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't been to this part of the world yet but I have seen a little more about it in movies and some documentary. From what I read online also together with what I have seen in some movies, I would say that it's a good place to visit every once in a while if you want to take some time off and relax on another part of the world.
