In the provinces south of Manila there are resorts that are actually farm with accommodation. You can stay overnight or even for some days to enjoy the harvest in the farm. My cousin said it was a nice experience to feel the farm life with nutritious and healthy food in the farm. What's good is the cost which is affordable.

A farm resort is still a new concept in my home country despite the fact that tourism and agriculture are two major revenue-generating sectors. I have visited a couple of farms but these farms have not been developed into resorts even though these farms can be easily developed in to a farm resort.

I do think that it is indeed a good idea to have a farm to grow plants in, but it's too expensive to own one also. I prefer it to be a farm and not a resort.
