Mexico Trip

Hello. I was planning a trip soon to Mexico. I've always want to go there. I have 2 weeks off for vacation that I wanted to use to go there. I was just wondering does anyone know some of the safest places to visit for a woman. I'm not sure yet if any of my friends will be able to come with me. So, if I have to travel alone, what are some safe places to go.
