CDL A Local & Regional Dry Van Driver

Compensation: $0.57 CPM + $25.50 per stop

Additional Pay:

Detention Pay: $24.50/HR
Layover Pay: $30.00
Safety Meeting Pay: $24.50
Monthly Safety Bonus: $75
Annual Safety Bonus: $250

Average Annual Pay: $72,000–$85,000 yearly

Position Type: Full-Time | Paid Weekly | Home Daily

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Start Time: Between 3:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Shift Length: 8–10 Hour Shifts
Responsibilities

Operate a Day Cab hauling a 53’ Dry Van trailer.
Touch freight deliveries required.
Deliver general freight to retail locations and distribution centers.
Run routes throughout IL (Chicago suburbs), IA, WI, IN, KY, OH, and MO.
Complete approximately 1–5 stops per route.
Average 8–16 stops weekly.
Run approximately 280–450 miles per route.
Most routes are completed the same day with home daily schedules.
Occasional overnight runs may be required.
Hotel accommodations provided plus $25 per diem for overnight routes.
Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
Perform deliveries in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
Must be 23 years of age or older.
Experience operating 53’ Dry Van trailers.
Ability to handle touch freight and multi-stop delivery routes.
Comfortable running variable, non-dedicated routes.
Willingness to complete occasional overnight runs when needed.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality.
No DUIs/DWIs within the past 5 years.
No more than 3 moving violations within the past 48 months.
Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
