The Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) curriculum is designed to give students essential skills required for employment as a law enforcement officer with state, county, or municipal governments, or with private enterprise.

Career Paths
Successful graduates receive a Basic Law Enforcement Training certificate, 37 credits towards an associate degree, and are qualified to take the certification exams mandated by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission.
