Thai Street Paws Rescue is a charity organization that was started to aid Songkhla's soi (street) dogs in their plight to find food, shelter, medication, and positive human socialization in hopes finding loving, forever homes. Thai Street Paws Rescues goal is to spay and neuter soi dogs to prevent litters of unwanted puppies, treat sick dogs, feed the hungry, and educate the community about animal welfare. Thai Street Paws Rescue is currently run by one woman and a few donors. Tamara, a teacher from Australia, is feeding and caring for over 40 street dogs on a daily basis. She also runs local shelter and fosters dogs in her home. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming job for one person and volunteers would be extremely helpful in the mission to end Thialnd's soi dog suffering.
