Retired and bored being home all the time? Are you interested in volunteering with a great group of people at the Lakehurst Historical Society Museum at 300 Center Street in Lakehurst, N.J.? We need people with an interest in history, someone able to talk with people and to run our very small gift shop inside the historic museum. Do you just enjoy history? You will love volunteering here!
Lakehurst Historical Society is looking for someone with the gift of gab to volunteer along with other experienced volunteers to run our museum on a day or days of your choosing. The museum is open every Wednesday and the Sunday of every month from 12:30 to 3PM. Our Society meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakehurst Community Center, across the street from the Museum.
