Exactech is a manufacturer of joint replacement devices, like joints, hips, and knees. These devices were claimed to be delivered in a defective condition due to the absence of an oxygen layer. Exactech recalled thousands of these devices from 2004 to 2021. Several people came forward with the claim that this device gave them more health problems than they were worth, like more pain or the need for a revision surgery.
